Life changes in the blink of an eye, and it’s easy to miss the small but meaningful moments while you’re in the middle of it all. A Year in the Life project captures your family’s story over 12 months so you can look back and truly see how everyone has grown and changed.

Why a Year in the Life and not a single session?

Single sessions are a great way to tell your family’s story and don’t require as big of a commitment. However, there are reasons why you might decide that a Year in the Life project is the kind of storytelling that works best for your family:

You’re welcoming a new baby and want to document their first year.
You’re only in Taiwan for a year and want the story of your family’s time here preserved.
You want to capture everyday moments across different times of day and seasons.
You get a family historian (me!) on retainer — without paying everything upfront.
It’s actually more cost-effective than booking single sessions individually, while giving you a richer, complete story of your family’s life.

Year in the Life Project Options & Pricing

One 2-hour session every month for a year. (12 total)
Includes a private online gallery of 60+ edited high-resolution photos after each session. You’ll be able to download your photos and have access to the gallery for 6 months from the date of your final session.
8,500 NT per session
First and last session must be paid ahead of time to book.
One 2-hour session every other month for a year. (6 total)
Includes a private online gallery of 60+ edited high-resolution photos after each session. You’ll be able to download your photos and have access to the gallery for 6 months from the date of your final session.
9,000 NT per session
First and last session must be paid ahead of time to book.
Four 2-hour sessions spread out over one year. (4 total)
Includes a private online gallery of 60+ edited high-resolution photos after each session. You’ll be able to download your photos and have access to the gallery for 6 months from the date of your final session.
9,500 NT per session
First and last session must be paid ahead of time to book.
