“Attention is the beginning of devotion” — Mary Oliver

It’s hard to be present and pay attention to our own lives when we’re in the thick of it. You know you want to remember every laugh and hug, but all you have are occasional posed photoshoots and tons of cell phone snapshots that gather dust on your hard drive. So, let’s work together!

More than a photographer, I’m someone who pays attention. My documentary family photography sessions are longer because I spend time with you and your family and truly get to know your story, resulting in images that are emotional, intimate, funny, and full of moments that tell the true story of your family as it is right now. This is the power of documentary photography.

Documentary Photography Session Options & Pricing

My documentary sessions are all-inclusive—I like to keep things simple! The time I spend with you during the session and the extensive time I devote to culling and editing your photos behind the scenes is already reflected in my pricing, and I include all of the best photos that are needed to tell your story in your gallery (typically 50+ images for a 2-hour session).

Furthermore, you’ll notice that almost all of my sessions include something tangible such as a set of 4x6 prints. It’s very important to me that your photos don’t get lost in digital clutter.

  • The perfect amount of time to capture a slice of everyday life! We can just hang out at home or also go on a short outing in the neighborhood.

Includes a private online gallery of edited high-resolution photos and 1 set of 4x6 prints.

10,000 NT (25% deposit to book)

  • Documentary photography shines when I have more time to tell your story. Whether you decide to focus on your morning routine together, your evening routine, or something in between, half a day gives me more time to observe your family dynamic and capture more special moments that tell a story about who you are.

Includes a private online gallery of edited high-resolution photos and a hardcover photobook.

24,000 NT (25% deposit to book)

  • Day in the Life sessions last from waking up until bedtime. This session is for people who want the complete picture; there is no better way to tell the story of a typical day for your family during this season of your lives.

For DITL sessions, I can travel anywhere in Taiwan and most of Asia, even spending the night so that I'm right there to capture those first waking-up snuggles. Including:

    • Taiwan’s outlying islands

  • Is your family visiting Taiwan? Is your current “home” base a hotel with a travel crib and clothes thrown all over the place? (Yes, I’ve been there.)

A documentary family photography session can happen in a hotel room or while sightseeing around town. In fact, there’s no better way to remember your special adventure together!

If you want to capture even more vacation memories, I can travel anywhere in Taiwan and most of Asia for a day or two as your personal family documentarian. Including:
