Birth & Newborn Photography: Capturing New Life and New Beginnings
As a documentary photographer, I specialize in preserving important moments that will never happen again. If there were ever moments worthy of capturing, it’s when a new little person joins your family. Whether you want to capture the moment your child is born or the beginning of your new life together at home, I promise you that you won’t regret being able to look back on the time that your child entered your life.

My documentary newborn sessions are relaxed and focus on documenting all of the little moments and parts of your routine that you'll want to look back on when this fleeting time is over. Think of me as a friend who’s just coming to hang out with their camera for about two hours.
Around 1 month old is a good time for a documentary newborn session because baby will be more alert and you’ll have had time to establish a routine together.
Includes a private online gallery of edited high-resolution photos and 1 set of 4x6 prints.

Birth photography isn’t just for hippies and it doesn’t have to feature a lot of graphic images or nudity (although I’m certainly not afraid of those things). It’s about documenting the entire story of when you’re child joined your family. Some moments might be hard, but there will also be moments of strength, partnership, and beauty.
A birth photography package includes:
In-person consultation before the birth
Me being on call 24/7 from 38 weeks until the time of delivery
Time spent with you from the time of active labor up to 2 hours after the birth
A private online gallery of edited high-resolution photos
